860hp IMSA RXR One

Most of you have heard of the IMSA Company which is in the market since the last 10 years. They came under the limelight with their series of Lamborghini tuning packages. Prior to their packages for Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago, we didn’t hear of the company much. But only recently, IMSA has again come in the news after it offered a teaser of Mercedes AMG GT-based project. 

Finally, the IMSA RXR One has been announced officially which is totally based on the Mercedes AMG GTS. The RXR term is given as the acronym of Road X-tra Racing. The IMSA Mercedes AMG GTS RXR will be offered as a limited edition package where each and every car will be amended as per the buyer’s taste and demand.

IMSA has stated that no two models will look identical to each other as the owner will be able to choose the paint colour from the list. Alongside the interior will also be completely customizable. Along with the designing tweaks, IMSA has also worked on many other essential aspects like weight reduction, chassis upgrade, power enhancement, and aerodynamic enhancement.

For weight reduction, complete carbon fibre panels have been used. To make it a power bank, the existing AMG 4.0 Litre V8 engine has been re-engineered to make it lighter and high performing. With the engine changes, it is not capable to churn out the power of up to 860 bhp and 1000 Nm torque.

A roll cage has been installed with a set of carbon fibre sports seals that keeps the security of the drive at top priority
