Previewing the new body range of body and performance modes for the 8 series the BMW with the component make the public debut t the Essen Motor Show in December. This is all done by the BMW tuning masters at AC Schnitzer.  For both currently available powertrains in the 8series, AC Schnitzer will offer power upgrades, talking about the engine the M85Oi 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 will have the boost to 591 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque versus 523 hp and 553 lb-ft from the factory.  Instead of the stock rating of 315 hp and 502 lb-ft, the 840d’s diesel-fueled 3.0-liter twin turbo inline-six will now make 374 hp and 575 lb-ft. A new two-piece with a better sound from stock is also developing by the German tuner. To give the car a sporty aesthetic the piece adds pairs of 4.134-inch tailpipes to the back and carbon trim is there. The 8 series ride is also tweaked by AC Schnitzer where revised springs will drop the ride height by at least 0.787inches in front and 0.393 inches at the back. 

With the variety of carbon fiber parts owners can also able to dress up the coupe’s exterior appearance. Splitter, canards, hood vents and fender outlets are included in the components, slide skirts extend the carbon parts around the coupe and a stubby rear wings rise from the trunk. The interior of the 8 series is not yet revealed by the AC Schnitzer, but to dress up the cabin the company promises to offer an array of aluminum trim.
