Manhart revealed the first renderings describing its tuning project based on the BMW Z4 M40i. Earlier, it was in development phase but the car is ready to go and our ally Shmee150 is giving a comprehensive walkaround tour in his latest video. Connect with Tim in his short 19 mins video, which gives a good appearance (and listen) at the roadster.

As you might remember, Manhart’s version of the car comes with the MHZ4 440 name, where 440 numeric means the horsepower rating. The 3.0-liter B58 twin-turbo engine under the hood thanks to application and hardware upgrades makes out 440 horsepower (328 kilowatts).

The exhaust sound it generates is just monstrous and this in the best-fit word describing the sound. Turn-on the Sport Plus phase, and just wait for a while for the valves to engage, and you’ll get to hear a harsh and loud sound.

This Manhart project is one of the initial to be integrated with the company’s Emulator Control Module. It is the company’s appropriate answer to the queries from customers who all are seeking to enhance the stock exhaust system of their new BMWs but being scare about the new gasoline particulate filters, which might be problematic.

The same device can also deactivate the start-stop system of the car and its simulated exhaust sound production from audio system speakers. The cost of the module for the Z4 is €399,00, which costs to approx. $467 as per the latest exchange rates.
