Brabus, the well-known German tuner has been busy in this year. In the couple of past months, Brabus has extracted 800 hp from the new 2021 Mercedes-AMG E63 S and has changed the new S-Class into a 500-hp super sedan. Now, Brabus has started working on the new 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 and GLS 63 luxury SUVs with a new tuning package that fits an array of carbon-fiber performance parts and enhances the performance significantly.

The standard 2021 GLE and GLS are fitted with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 rated at 603 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. That's crazy amount of power for a luxury SUV, but Brabus has upgraded the output to a massive 800 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque.

This enhancement in power for GLE and GLS makes them more potent than other most powerful luxury SUVs in the market such as the Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga Speed.

This huge increase in performance was achieved due to two custom turbochargers with larger compressors and an increased boost pressure of 1.6 bar along with a remapped ECU. Because of these enhancements, the modified AMG GLE will now gain 60 mph from rest position in just 3.4 seconds, while the heavier GLS will gain the same speed in 3.6 seconds. Both the vehicles will have a maximum speed at 174 mph. An optional stainless-steel quad exhaust system with actively controlled exhaust flaps provides the V8 powerplant a throatier, louder soundtrack.

The 800-hp GLE and GLS can be provided with an array of carbon body parts available in high gloss or matt, including a new front spoiler, new front bumper intakes, a roof spoiler, and a diffuser insert. These upgradations provide the SUVs a sportier look and also enhances the aerodynamics.

Brabus enhances the stability of luxury SUVs by reducing the ride height by approx. 1 inch. It also provides an option of lightweight forged alloy wheels ranging from 21-24 inches in size. In the cabin interior, you will get superior quality leather trim, aluminum pedals, and stainless-steel scuff plates with a backlit Brabus logo.
