As we talk about SUVs, the Mercedes AMG G63 is a classy SUV. It talks about luxury and practicality in one package and gives classic looks that will always be in style, but for some, a classy, elegant aesthetic is just not on. Enter Lumma Design. The company is basically known for ruining vehicles with hideous kits and add-ons, but the tuner is also capable of creating a good-looking machine from an already attractive base. Unfortunately, that's not the case for this G-Class. Based on the CLR G770, this is the R version, and it takes things to an even more extreme level. Prepare to bleach your eyes.

The G770 R features a new front end that is so frantic, and for our eyes, it is very hard where to focus. A bulbous hood vent is also there with two holes in the front and three vents along each side, while the front grille has also been massacred with an egg-crate-style design. That is surrounded by a red pinstripe that is also featured on the profile of the car along the body and around each of the CLR 24 RS 24-inch wheels. Those wheels are housed in 1.38-inch wider fenders while other body mods include a multitude of fake vents. The parts twin-exit exhaust tips and the carbon mirrors are the only ones we like.

Unfortunately, Lumma didn't stop there. The roof features a carbon fiber-encased set of LED lights while the rear of the G63 now boasts a fake carbon diffuser and a carbon spare wheel carrier. We can't help but wonder who is still buying cars this ugly considering how good Lumma’s BMW X7 looks when subtler options are clearly more attractive. Nevertheless, if you happen to be one of those individuals who has managed to get this far without donning a pair of seriously dark sunglasses.
