Brabus has introduced its inaugural supercar, named the 'Brabus 900 Crawler,' as part of its 45th-anniversary celebration. This remarkable vehicle features a bespoke chassis developed in-house, a seating capacity for four individuals, and an open-carbon buggy-style exterior.

Crafted from high-strength exposed carbon, the body of the Brabus 900 Crawler showcases the brand's dedication to creating an unrivaled racing machine suitable for conquering desert dunes. As a vehicle designed for off-road adventure and fun, it is important to note that this model is not intended for legal street use.

The heart of this model lies in its specially designed tubular frame, meticulously engineered using cutting-edge CAD technology. This approach ensures exceptional strength and durability, even in the face of challenging off-road conditions. The chassis itself is constructed from high-strength steel, boasting a vibrant Brabus Red finish. To support the portal axles on both the front and rear, the suspension system, integrated onto the chassis, is built for maximum robustness.

In order to accommodate the new design, significant adjustments were made to the engine, transmission, differentials, and half-shafts placement, necessitating the elevation of these components. This involved the integration of high-strength aluminum elements, including the engineering of specialized wheel ends featuring built-in portal gearboxes. Additionally, all control arms, the integral subframe of the front and rear independent transmission, and the axle housing of the rear beam axle were constructed using these materials.

The intricacies of this design approach also facilitated the achievement of an impressive maximum ground clearance of 53 centimeters. This elevated clearance proves highly advantageous when navigating challenging and uneven terrains.

Externally, the new model showcases a range of enhancements, such as custom-crafted Brabus aluminum struts, shock absorbers with four-way adjustability, oversized tires with an off-road tread pattern, and Brabus Monoblock HD 'Platinum Edition' forged wheels. A matching spare wheel is also visible at the rear. The exterior aesthetic is further enhanced by notably widened wheel arches, a carbon fiber roof panel, and a tubular frame devoid of conventional doors and windows. To enhance safety, a robust steel cell designed as a roll cage is also integrated into the structure.

The Brabus 900 Crawler also boasts several distinct features. These include a Brabus rear wing, thoughtfully integrated air ducts and vents intended for the comfort of rear-seat passengers, and the presence of two LED panels on the roof skin in addition to the central air intakes. To enhance durability, stainless skid plates are incorporated, while the radiators are meticulously designed to excel in hot desert conditions. Wide carbon rocker panels serve a dual purpose as both entrance aids and visual accents. Notably, the front of the vehicle is equipped with a special hood housing two prominent air intakes.

Furthermore, the vehicle rides on king-sized tires, measuring 40x13.50 R20. The forged wheels, sized at 9.5Jx20 for both the front and rear axle, are crafted with an eight-hole bolt pattern meticulously engineered to match the Brabus portal axles.

At the heart of the new Crawler resides a robust eight-cylinder powerplant, outfitted with a pair of turbochargers and boasting a 4.5-liter displacement. This formidable engine, known as the Brabus 900 Rocket V8 twin-turbo increased-displacement engine, commands attention. With an impressive performance profile, it delivers a peak power output of 900 hp, attainable at a low 6200 rpm, accompanied by a substantial torque of 1250 Nm, accessible at just 2900 rpm. This potent configuration enables a swift acceleration, propelling the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.4 seconds. Despite its exceptional capabilities, the top speed is electronically governed to 160 km/h for controlled performance.

Inside the vehicle, you'll find carbon racing seats adorned in vibrant red Silvertex fabric. These seats are complemented by four-point seatbelts, creating a racing-inspired ambiance. An intercom system is integrated, offering compatibility with the provided set of four Brabus carbon helmets or any other headsets. The interior detailing includes striking red anodized components, encompassing the pedals, driver footrests, and switches. This meticulous coordination aligns with the seats' upholstery, as well as the frame and chassis.

Limited to an exclusive production run of just 15 units, the new Brabus 900 Crawler is a rare gem. This allocation is divided across the years, with five units already delivered in the previous year, followed by another five in current year, and the remaining five to be released in 2024.
